The fact that a lesbian and a gay man can walk into a marriage bureau together and automatically receive a marriage license based on no other reason except they are a man and woman, while gay and lesbian couples (who truly love each other) are automatically disqualified says a lot about the sanctity of marriage in this country.

Oh…so does the divorce rate, but that’s another story.
